Welcome! I have worked for more than 10 years as a psychodynamic psychotherapist following my Masters in Clinical Psychology and training in analytical and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I work with a wide range of issues, such as mood, anxiety, eating, pain or personality disorders and trauma as well as more general life challenges such as feelings of stagnation, mid-life crisis, stress or relationship problems and low self-esteem.

My particular interest is in helping my clients to gain a deeper understanding of their symptoms and maladaptive life patterns by looking whether certain aspects of their personality are not lived. This could often be reflected in a sense of emptiness, creative block, trouble in interpersonal relationships and a general quest to find meaning in life. In therapy we create a narrative of how these problems occurred as well as finding new creative ways to discover vital life-forces in yourself.

After an initial assessment, I tailor my therapy plan in accordance with your needs. I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapeutic interventions. Changing fundamental life issues and behaviour patterns often requires longer term psychotherapy. The aim is to become aware of unconscious material that largely influences who we are and how we relate to others. The session time is 50 minutes.
